I love my Sterlng STP (pump), so I decided to buy the semi-auto version. The biggest hurdle was finding a supplier. At the time, the only way to get one was through PowerBall UK, which is Arrow Precision's European distributor. So I shot off an e-mail and received a reply within a few hours. They had some in stock, but not the color I had requested (purple). However, they could produce one for me within a few weeks since bodies were about to go to the anodizer. So, I shelled out the money ($680) and waited patiently.

About 5 weeks later the package arrived. The marker is very well built. It IS amazingly light, especially for it's size. The bead-blast finish and anodizing is well done, and appealing. The trigger is stiff. Much stiffer than I'm used to. That has caused some chopping on my part.

The original setup was with a MacDev Gladiator reg. Unfortunately I had some very strange shoot-up problems with it, and switched to a AKA SideWinder reg. Usually I run with the Java 45ci/4500 preset tank. This allows for a very short and light shooting platform. Excellent for a front player (which I am not), or as a backup marker.
